Good gravy I have been a terrible blogger as of late. Sorry. Between SSK prep and the sun not going down until 10:30pm or so and a couple other things, I feel like the house has been wildly off schedule the last couple weeks and Peanut has been going to bed super late and blah, blah, blah. You know, life has been happening. The bad thing is I have had great posts planned out every day. But, I have got a couple great things to make up for my bad-blogger-ness this week.
So, since the Wool Dispensary giveaway was so much fun, I have decided to do a giveaway every month. Woo! This month, the wonderful Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting has sent me a copy of her and Hannah Fettig's amazing Coastal Knits the book AND all four Coastal Knits Kids patterns to give away to a lucky reader. Awesome, right? This has got to be one of the most beautiful knitting books I have ever seen. A friend of mine let me dig through her copy that she borrowed from the library and I fell in love. Now that I have this copy to give away I have had a chance to dig through a little more and I desperately want my own copy! I am definitely going to have to buy a copy for me now. I want a Rocky Coast Cardigan for the Pacific Northwest fall and winter.
So, if you want to win this copy plus the four Coastal Kids patterns, leave a comment below telling me your favorite pattern in the book (check them all out here).
I will draw a winner using the random number generator next Tuesday, June 26th 2012 (the day before I leave for SSK!).
Good luck!

Oooh! The Cambrian cowl!

Um. You want me to pick me a favorite?! Ok, well, Wildflower then. Or Rocky Coast. Or it might be Gnarled Oak. Or... ?!!

I have to agree, I SO want a Rocky Coast cardigan for our Pacific Northwest fall and winter seasons! Heck, seeing how the weather has been as of late this cardi would be perfect!
I'm just dying to knit a Little Oak for a wee one too. I just need a wee one to knit it for!

I just love the breezy ragan pullover, I love the simplicity with the side detail -just my cup of tea!

Oh my goodness -- SO many gorgeous patterns! I found myself romanced by the two cardigans with interesting cable detail - the gnarled oak and the yellow cardi with that little pocket! So sweet!! It probably helps that I'm freezing cold sitting at the kitchen counter, so cardigans are looking good!!
Whirlwind days can take it out of you - be sure to do something nice, and drink enough water :)

I want Rocky Coast so much it hurts. That has to be one of the most beautiful cardigan/jacket designs I've seen.

I love this book! I would definitely knit Water's Edge in the adult and child size first, then I would most likely knit every other pattern in the book! Such a great collection:)

The Gnarled Oak cardigan called to me....even though I don't really wear cardigans.
::sigh::
I still want it, though.
