This sounds like my feelings towards a certain current project! We were probably both pulling out our hair at the same time. :)

I'm glad you survived the moebius. I don't know if I'll ever make one, I am just finally getting used to having scarves wrapped around my neck. The Loopy Ewe is in my hometown, St. Louis. I've never been there and don't know if I'll be able to go because my parents are moving to Arizona. I do still have some family there, so I'll cross my fingers. I look forward to seeing your new pattern!

I love Moebius knitting, and most of the "First Treasury of Magical Knitting" patterns are great, but I have to agree with you about that lace one. I've knit it several times and never yet ended up with something I can live with. Don't give up on the Moebius just because of that pattern--the baskets and bowls in Magical Knitting Volume 2 are awesome for gifts, and much more fun to make (plus you just can't even try to smooth a basket out).
