We had a little company earlier this week at the Danger pad. If you are not into gratuitous pug (and puggle) pictures, you might want to stop reading now....
This is Roxy, my mom's dog:
As I mentioned earlier my Grandma's birthday was last friday and my aunt came up from California to celebrate. So of course, since it is the perfect time of year for the Tulip festivals down in Mount Vernon (about 30 min south of us) there was a little sightseeing trip down to the tulip and daffodil fields this week. I offered to take Roxy since I am always up for more dogs in the house. She is a Puggle (part pug, part beagle) and I figured both she and our girls could use a play date to wear off some energy. There was some playing:
But not as much as I thought there would be. Instead there was a lot of napping, and all Roxy really wanted was to snuggle next to me:
Since I am a dog sucker and will do anything to appease a pushy canine, I can now add knitting with a Puggle on my arm to my list of talents. That comes right after knitting with a pug on my lap, knitting with a pug biting my knitting needles, and using an industrial sewing machine with a pug on my lap. Talk about talent.....

Roxy is too cute. I have a pugalier (pug/king charles cavalier) the biggest sook. :)

Did you know that a puggle is a baby echidna? I love your patterns and look forwarding to making penelope.
Thanks for a great site.
