Yes, horrifyingly enough I ran out of tea this morning. Now dear blog readers, if you have not figured out thus far that this whole "business" thing is merely what happens when I consume tea, let me assure you now: nothing happens without caffeinated tea in this house. Nothing at all.
So, since I needed one or two other things I quickly hopped in the car and drove to Fred Meyers which is only about 5 minutes away and my normal shopping place. I do our local co-op sometimes, but mainly I do Fred Meyer since they stay open until like 10 or 11pm, the time I normally get it together enough to go grocery shopping.
We needed new towels since ours are kinda gross and having just moved we are in the "asses what we need get rid of what we don't" stage still. I wandered the towel aisles, and ended up with a couple nice organic cotton bath towels. I was happy to find Fred Meyers had organic cotton bath towels and since I do try my part to help the environment, I went with them.
As I was checking out the cashier seemed perplexed by my choice of bath ware and I explained to her what my towels were and how much they should be. She joked around about them being “hemp or something”, but sure enough when she rung them up they were the right price and right item. Then, as she was tossing them in the bag (not a reusable one, I am halfway there….) she said, "I was going to say if they are made out of hemp you could always smoke them if you get tired of them!" Yes. I will smoke my towels. Smoke my towels because I am tired of them and want to get high. Wow.
No wonder I am such a shut in. I mean, I have been playing this scene over and over in my mind since I went to the store some three and a half hours ago I was so utterly amazed at it. I think I will be sticking to the late night shopping trips in the future where no one has ever suggested I smoke anything.

:) Funny post.
