Would you like to know what that is the sound of? Time sailing by at an alarming rate around my house. Yikes. Every day this week I have planned to blog, then I blink my eyes and it is the next day somehow.
We're just cruising along here. Mr Danger has a new job, he started training on Monday to be a finanacial advisor, so we are all very excited about that. This means that he gets to work at home for the next couple months, which is A-OK with me. Over the past 7 years we have been together we have worked together on many occasions and with his last job this year at Bank of America (did I ever tell y'all that's where he worked?) the schedule was wonky, with long hours many days (Fridays were 8:30-7:30). I have missed having him at home a ton. Even though he is working upstairs in our office most of the time right now, he still has to come down for bathroom and coffee breaks so I get to see his smiling face throughout the day.
I have gotten to the point in the book writing where my hands have started to ache. This is a good thing since The Kid has gotten to a point where he entertains himself well enough I am getting a ton of work in, enough work that my hands hurt from knitting. I think this is the first time ever I have been happy that my hands hurt, since it means I am getting things done! My (probably unrealistic) goal right now is to get all of the knitting done by November 1st. I think it is doable, though I often think things of this nature....We'll see. But I must say of the 28 projects I am working on I have 22 projects done, 1 in progress, and 5 left to start. So that's pretty good I would say. But I am spending my days dreaming of all the things I would like to be knitting instead of those thing I have to be knitting. First order of business when I finish the book will be to finish my Manu. You know, the one I started in december last year, or january. It has been so long I can't remember.
That's the status report around here. Not too exciting, but we do seem to be getting into a pretty good routine with naps and whatnot, and I am feeling more like myself again after being pregnant and then having a newborn, all of which works for me. Now if I can just get blogging into that routine we'll be all set.

You can do it!
And, the Manu is totally worth it! I wear mine all of the time :)

I stumbled upon this blog and I'm astonished by all the great knittings you've done! Thanks for the free Knitting Patterns, I need to start some projects with these!

You pegged it when you said, "I am spending my days dreaming of all the things I would like to be knitting instead of those thing I have to be knitting." However, my necessary knitting is for Christmas, not for a book.
Can't wait to see your next offering!
