Remember Me?

Hey there! I'm Rebecca. I feel like after disappearing there for a bit I needed to re-introduce myself.

Man, it has just been one of those weeks. The Kid was super cranky from his shots through Sunday. Monday he was a bit less cranky and I whizzed through some book knitting, impressing even myself. Since then it has been a struggle to get anything done, and not even because of The Kid!

But, we're getting through. The weather has totally turned here and we are coming into my favorite season of the year. I love the fall color, crisp cold weather, falling leaves, pumpkin spice candles and lattes, big snuggly sweaters, crunching leaves under my feet when I walk,  and everything else fall brings. 

I am just pushing through my second book writing which has been a big struggle. I don't think it was the best idea to add on this year, but hey, I'm ambitious. Silly me, I just assumed this baby would nap more! I have been joking recently I used to work at home and now I just pretend to work at home. It's not even like The Kid is unwilling to help me out with things. Right now he is snuggled in this sling, which we both love, happily helping me type. Type one-handed, but type nonetheless. I can do just about anything one-handed, unfortunately knitting is not one of those one-handed type activities. And he's just so dang cute and fun that sometimes it is hard to focus on work and not him. Well, more than sometimes really. Good thing I love what I do or going back to work would be so incredibly hard. And it's not even like I am not getting a ton done, I just expect so much of myself and have pretty much always lived up to those expectations in the past, so it is hard for me to expect anything less from myself.

Alright, we have used up happy baby time. But I will be back up to more normal blogging this week since I really do have a bunch of fun stuff to share!
