Yup, there's really nothing better than new baby smiles, is there? The Kid has been smiling for several weeks now, but we have just managed to get pictures of it the last few days.
The last 2 weeks here have been pretty amazing. The Kid went through crazy-screamy week during Week 5. But then, suddenly, we switched his feeding schedule and he has fallen into a routine and is being the most awesome baby ever. We have had very little crying the last 2 weeks, and he is napping twice a day, in his crib, for at least 2 hours each time. Plus, he has slept through the night every night since that first one. Seriously, the guy doesn't like to get up until 7 or 8 am. Plus, he smiles almost constantly. To the point where he can't keep his pacifier in. We love it.
This is a particularly huge relief since during crazy-screamy week all I could think was, "What was I thinking writing another book the same year I had a baby?! I will NEVER get this done!" But, sure enough, with all the napping, I am getting some serious work in. Napping, and while feeding him (since I figured out how to knit while nursing the first week we were home from the hospital).
So, we are just enjoying this new parent thing every second around here (although Mr Danger is at work way more than anyone would like, which we are working hard at changing). And with that, I will leave you with another smiley picture.

He is such a cutie! I am so glad that you are sharing your adorable guy with us on the blog. A lot of new moms disappear completely from their blogs, never to return.

Right, even though babies still don't have any teeth, they still look good while smiling! Just imagine what they would look like when they have their baby teeth, right? Auuuh~ That would probably one of the happiest moments for parents. Seeing their child grow up is both a happy and sad experience.
