Hey all! I managed to get it all together and get my pattern ready for today. Meet Presley Cash the Monster:
This is a very special pattern that I designed to celebrate the arrival of Mr P. When I was pregnant, Mr Danger and I thought it would be fun to have a monster specially made for our new little guy, so I got hard to work designing a monster that I would be proud to name after Presley, and this is what I came up with.
Since I sort of have had babies on the brain I also designed Presley the monster to be super baby friendly: he's got knitted teeth as opposed to my normal felt teeth, embroidered eyes that can't be chewed off, and his one long arm makes him perfect for little hands to grab and carry around (and perfect for adults to hang anywhere).
I hope you enjoy your new Presley the monster addition to your family as much as we are enjoying ours! He is up in the etsy shop now, and I am off to Ravelry to add him as well. Today is fun too because I have extra pictures to share. I had help and had a test knitter run through the pattern. She sent me photos, and this one was too cute not to share:
And then of course how could I resist a Presley and Presley pic?

He's fantastic! I absolutely love him!

aww, so cute! I can't tell if the monster in the chair is ginormous or if little baby P is just adorably tiny! I must make these monsters- and though fun to hang I think if I let my little preschooler siblings loose with these guys they would definately find a way to 'accidentally on purpose' wrap each other up, so it will be a few more years before I can connect those cute lil hands!

Hey Michele-
It's one of Michael's new lines of yarn, Loops and Thread Charisma. All the details are on the last page of the pattern.
Gray La Gran-
Yes, Presley the kid is still under 8lbs and Presley the Monster is 22" tall.
