Hi all! Well, my due date of yesterday has come and gone and no baby. But, this morning I told Mr Danger that is probably a good thing since I seem to be getting more done right now than I have ever in my entire life. Trying to distract myself from the last (hopefully) few days of being pregnant means I am doing lots of knitting done. Especially since I am feeling really tired and about the only thing I am capable of right now is sitting on the couch and knitting. I am thinking that if Baby Danger is a full 2 weeks late I will be able to get the whole year's worth of patterns written....
I've got a couple more of my sewing projects to share! I have been sewing out of Lotta Jansdotter's Simple Sewing For Baby book and just loving every project. I did the quilted play mat thing in monster fabric:
And loved it so much I also did it in skulls:
Fun! And I think they will be really handy to throw down under Baby Danger all over the place.
Alrighty, I am off to go snuggle on the couch with the pugs and get as much knitting in as I can! Although after typing this I have now remembered I was going to make one of the tag blankies from the Lotta book too out of some leftover fabric. Maybe there will be a little more sewing today......

Zoot! I thought for sure 3 days with no blog post meant you had a baby!!! But oh well, those quilts are amazing! I need a nice easy quilt pattern to eat up my ever growing stashes of FQ's! I'll have to look into that book it would seem!
Sending lots of "easy delivery" wishes for you, can't wait to to meet him--- when he decides to come out!

Oh my gosh Rebecca, you have gotten oodles accomplished! That's a good sign! I've heard that some women start cooking or cleaning up a storm just before their baby is born. I think knitting and sewing fall into that also!
I can't wait to see your new patterns and pictures of little Danger once he arrives.
I'm hoping to start some monsters this week for my grandson, Mitchell. He absolutely loves your book and wants Leila, Lydia and Lucas. And of course, he was very specific in the colors that he wants me to use!
Best wishes for that very soon "birthday."

Ooo, those are lovely! I hope you're not waiting too much longer for baby, but at least you've got some lovely things to show for the time you've been waiting! Anytime now!

Those are adorable! Play mats are the best for babies! I loved having them with my kids.

Hang in there! I was ten days late and thought it would never happen...and last night, I taught my now 8-year-old son his first hand sewing as we made a Danger monster together. Thanks for your cheerful designs and best of luck with the new little one!--Leslie

It's look like beautiful. I like too much. I am feeling very tired and the only thing I can now sit on the couch and knit.
