I knit. A lot. We all know this. And now I have the Options needles from Knit Picks so I have pretty much every circular needle I will ever need. But, now my double pointed collection is sadly lacking. Sadly, sadly, lacking. It seems like when I look at my double pointed needles I have just about everything. But whenever I go to use them, that is one of the sizes I don't have or there are only 3 needles (so much for selling sets of 5, I still lose 2).
So, I went and bought myself a present on friday:
That's right: a size 0-15 double pointed needle set. It was $19.99 on ebay, what a steal! Plus, I ordered friday and they were here monday. I mean honestly, it is worth so much more than $20 to save me the darn headache of my double pointed needle problems, plus talk about instant gratification. I don't know why I waited so long to buy them really.
And do you notice the rest of my dining room table? That would be knitted fingerless gloves to the right, three skeins of yarn above, and what you don't see is the stack of knitting magazines off farther to the right. Can we say obsessed? Mr Danger was having a friend I hadn't met before over yesterday and I was horrified to look at my coffee table piled in knitting books and magazines. If you look carefully in the above picture you can see the table next to the couch covered in (4) knitting clutches. Oy.
Alrighty, off to Harry-Potter-A-Thon. We put all 5 movies on the Netflix Queue and they all came today, so we will be watching 2, or 3(4?) this evening and I will be knitting the whole time. Rock. On. Doesn't get much better than that. Oh, did I mention we went to IHOP for dinner? I love being an adult!
