Hello! I hope everyone had as nice a Christmas as we did. I am taking a little time this week to calm down after the holiday and am not expecting too much of myself. But, I thought I would give y'all a little update of what is happening in the Danger household today.
I am still working on Christmas presents. Because of the snow, Christmas in Seattle with Mr Danger's family was postponed until the 1st. Lucky too, since there was no way I was getting presents done for them by the 25th. So, I am finishing up, but will definitely need the next 2 full days to get everything done.
We went to the post office this morning since they still haven't made it up the driveway and we had to pick up packages. But, I got my sweaters from ebay for bears, finally, in the craziest packaging I have ever seen:
That would be a Whole Foods grocery bag taped up to create a "box." O.K.
I went to Apple Yarn also this morning to grab the last 2 balls of yarn I needed for a christmas present. Mr Danger found the most amazing book there, Thrown Together, which I might have to go back and get this afternoon to make sure not to miss it at their big sale on the 1st. It was gorgeous and I think I loved every single pattern in it. Yes, as I type this, I know it must be mine.......
So what else is happening here? Mr Danger got a Wii for Christmas (from me) and is loving it. The pugs aren't though, they can't figure out why he is swinging his arms around and bark at him while he plays. Mr danger got me these, that I am SOOOO excited about, but still aren't here thanks to UPS not being able to get up our driveway for the last 2 weeks. I think they will be here today. I sure hope so. I figure as soon as I finish all my christmas present knitting, they will show up.
Anything else exciting here? I am very proud of myself for using the last of the cream from our christmas quiche and cutting it with milk and making homemade half and half for my tea since we were out. It was so cool! But I think I am a little bit too proud of myself....
Alright, back to the christmas present grindstone. I promise I will share some of the projects once they are given out!
